Contemporary House With A Minimalistic, White Aesthetic
Although it sits of a pretty small plot of land, this cool-looking contemporary house makes the most of its location and takes takes full advantage of the views. The house was designed by Gallardo Llopis Arquitectos and is located in Ibiza. It’s a two-storey structure with a clean and minimalistic aesthetic and it enjoys a very close connection with the outdoors, featuring a backyard pool with an adjacent deck protected by the cantilevering upper volume.
The irregular topography didn’t really impact the project in a negative but rather inspired the architects to play with different heights, giving the house more dimension and more character.

It’s important to mention that the house sits on a corner lot which gives it a clear field of view, allowing it to offer wonderful panoramic views which are nicely emphasized by the glazed corners that seamlessly blur the boundaries between the indoor and the outdoor spaces.

The ground floor is where all the day areas are situated, with the kitchen, living room and dining area being combined into a large open volume. The cantilevered upper level contains all the night spaces with the exception of the master bedroom suite which occupies the entire western side of the house. The upper floor opens onto a continuous terrace which extends over the poolside deck and has glass railings which don’t obstruct the view yet are safe and durable.
